| | We stayed in this campground mid-July 2006. Very efficient, friendly park. Adequate power, water, and sewage hookups. Rates were reasonable; and the manager did indicate that longer stays were discounted. Nice fenced dog run for our puppies to enjoy. The microbrewery in town has a wide selection of locally made beverages. I would gladly stop at La Mesa RV Park again. Says John
Going for a hike on the Ute Trail is always a good adventure, and Dolores River is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. This is a popular spot for people from Dolores, |
and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Juan River.
The good local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. You clearly should go for La Mesa RV Park. Go for a hike on the Pinyon
| Pack Trail, and while you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Cortez City Government Conquistador Golf Course. La Mesa RV Park is liked by visitors from Dolores.
There's so many things to do near La Mesa RV Park, and it is a magnificent campground. La Mesa RV Park is a location that is reasonably dried out regularly; most of the rain falls through October while June is commonly the driest month.

around. Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time, time to go camping, and La Mesa RV Park in Colorado is a really magnificent site to spend some time. Why not pop by Denny Lake Dam since you're here, and Hesperus Ski Center has fine slopes and a friendly staff.

folks camp here in order to be near Mesa Verde National Park. This is a glorious campground. A visit to Mesa Verde National Park is recommended; nearby you hit upon the Frink Trail which is a good hiking trail.
The magnificent folks who manage this site and all the exciting
stuff to do are in themselves incentive enough to come here. With so many things to do in Colorado you'll never get bored.
There is a pleasant hiking trail in close proximity to La Mesa RV Park called the Upper Navajo Canyon Trail, and if you're looking for a glorious tour,
Yucca House National Monument is pretty near. This campground is so glorious. There are fine sites to explore along the Trail Cross Trail; Mancos State Park is a fine place to go. For the duration of the summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at La Mesa RV Park. For the period
of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at La Mesa RV Park.
