| | Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Highline. A lovely lake like Mack Mesa Reservoir in close proximity to Highline is a splendid location to visit; wonderful hiking is available along the Monument Canyon Trail. The accommodating operators of the campground and a glorious variety of enjoyable stuff have people coming here. This is a nice campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Colorado River, and going for a hike on the Pollock Trail is always a good adventure. Very picturesque scenery and brilliant |
skiing is what you get at Powderhorn. Colorado National Monument is a very great location to stop at near Highline, and nearby you find the Old Ute Indian Trail which is a great hiking trail. A lot of people opt for Highline when they come to explore Highline State Park. This
| campground is so nice. You can take a little journey to Upper Highline Dam if you're here at Highline, and Mack Mesa can be spotted from Highline. Mack Wash is a delightful local stream; you can go for a hike on the John Ottos Trail. All the fine local attractions close at hand and such an incredible array of things to do are delightful causes to come. time, now's the time for going camping, and Highline, Colorado is a good place for getting out. Highline State Park is a brilliant place to stretch your legs a bit, and if you come at the right time of year, Colorado River offers some glorious whitewater. Quite a lot of enjoyable
stuff to do near Highline, and it certainly is a good campground. If you're stopping by Highline from Mack, you won't be the only one, and don't leave Highline without first going for a hike along the Black Ridge Trail. Around Highline you don’t get a lot of precipitation;
the month with most of the rain is October while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Highline through the long summer days highs are in the 90's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Highline descend into the 0's. Highline is prized by the people from Mack.
