This camp ground is located in the charming San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Just can't   get enough of the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Highlander RV Campground sink into the-10's. At this campground you will always have a nice time. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling right next door to Highlander RV Campground is Rio Grande; close by you discover the Fern Creek Stock Driveway which is a brilliant hiking trail. Go for a hike on the Rough Creek Trail, and do stop at Kitty Creek since you're here at Highlander RV Campground. With so many things to do in Colorado you'll never get bored.
