The staff who's always there to lend a hand and the ably operated operations are in themselves reason enough to come here.   High Country Lodge is liked by visitors from South Fork. This camp ground is one of the magnificent sites to camp here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. The tremendous local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. High Country Lodge is a spot with many visitors from South Fork, and there are other places here than High Country Lodge, for example Lost Lake. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the San       Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. Go for a hike on the Highline Trail; an afternoon playing golf at Rio Grande Club is always a joy. This is such a stunning campground. There are delightful sites to discover along the Silver   Creek Trail, and do stop at South Fork Rio Grande while you're here at High Country Lodge. Near High Country Lodge you find the Lake Fork National Recreation Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; going for a great snow mobile ride at Wolf Creek Anglers on a wintertime day is always exciting.
