Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things close to Guanella Pass. Get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Big Thompson River, and there are plenty of people from Fort Collins here. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is abundant here in the Front Range. Hiking along the Greyrock Trail is wonderful fun, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Cache La Poudre River. |
Some activities here at Guanella Pass are playing golf, hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do. Guanella Pass is frequently visited by the people from Fort Collins. A number of people select this campground so they can go to
| Lory State Park. This campground is so lovely. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Sheep Creek Trail, and a journey to Boyd Lake State Park revives the spirit. Get your sleeping bag packed and get your motor running; Guanella Pass in Colorado is the outdoors at its greatest. Guanella Pass is pretty dry generally; the month with most of the rain is May; February meanwhile is the driest month. A tremendous spot for whitewater paddling near Guanella Pass is Cache La Poudre River; Dixon Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. | |

There's no way someone can get bored here in the Front Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Round Mountain Trail, and Lory State Park is a tremendous place to stop at. The personnel who's always there to help out and the nice quality of everything here attract folks
from far and wide. Such a pleasant pick of attractions and all the outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back many times. What a location this is for outdoors people. The Jug Trail offers hiking at its best; College Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop
by. Summer at Guanella Pass comes with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are mostly in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Guanella Pass. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like
Fort Collins Country Club Golf, and a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park is recommended. Coming to this campground is always a delightful idea. Take a hike on the Wintersteen Trail, and Spring Canyon Dam is a place that is next to Guanella Pass.
