Green Ridge - Arapaho National Forest, Front Range, Colorado   Lots of people stay at this campground to be in the neighborhood of Lory State Park. Not much rain falls here at Green Ridge; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Nearby lakes? Sure, College Lake is right next door to Green Ridge, and do pay a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park if you're here at Green Ridge. This is such a striking campground. Paddling on Cache La Poudre River is so much fun, and there's perfect hiking along the Jug Trail. Some of the water close by flows, like Dixon Creek; a spree     to Lory State Park revives the spirit. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Cache La Poudre River, and do take a hike on the Sheep Creek Trail. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. The kind reception and all the fun things to do are incentive enough to come here. There are so many cool things next to Green Ridge; if you're trying to find a splendid spot to go for a camping trip, this is a delightful pick. This camp ground is one of the good places to camp here in the Front Range. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Front Range. Glide down the rapids of Big Thompson River in a kayak; why not take a refreshing hike   along the Wintersteen Trail. Outdoors folks generally go for this section of Colorado. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Front Range. Fort Collins Country Club Golf is a nice golf course close by, and the Round Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. The splendid choice of local attractions, and such a large number of things to do will definitely have you coming back over and over. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the area near Green Ridge has to offer. Very good water scenery is available at Spring Canyon Dam next to Green Ridge, and Green Ridge is right by the Greyrock Trail. This campground is always a bliss. While you're here at Green Ridge you will meet lots of folks from nearby Fort Collins, and as expected, everyone loves Boyd Lake State Park. If you're feeling down from spending too much time indoors, No need to worry; Green Ridge is a splendid local campground if you happen to be in Colorado. And that's not all you can do here at Green Ridge. Throughout the long summer days at Green Ridge highs are mostly in the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
