| | The personnel that manages this campground and all the brilliant passtime activities attract folks from all over. So many fun things to do in the Front Range, not enough time. Don't leave Green Ridge without visiting Boyd Lake State Park, and while you're here, you could take a look at Dixon Creek. Everybody should go for a camping trip occasionally, and Green Ridge is a fine local campground if you happen to be in Colorado. with visitors from Fort Collins. Several folks pick Green Ridge to be near Lory State Park. Be careful coming to Green Ridge, you might not ever want to return home again. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre
| River; going for a hike along the Sheep Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Get wet paddling on Cache La Poudre River, and at Spring Canyon Dam close to Green Ridge there are some out of the ordinary things to see. Hiking along the Wintersteen Trail is tremendous fun, and if you're here, you could also explore wonderful Dixon Reservoir. Colorado during camping season, you must go camping. This camp ground is situated in the lovely Front Range. So many cool things in the neighborhood of Green Ridge, and it's one of those spots where everything is fine. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come
on down to Green Ridge. This is such a great campground. If you're a golfer then a pleasant close by course is Fort Collins Country Club Golf, and you'll perhaps meet some people from Fort Collins here. Green Ridge is right by the Round Mountain Trail, and you can have a good
hiking adventure along the Greyrock Trail. This is such a lovely campground. Lory State Park is a perfect location to go if you're at Green Ridge; if you haven’t been to Rocky Mountain National Park, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here. This location, the Front
Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Big Thompson River; why not take a refreshing hike along the Jug Trail. At Green Ridge during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's.
During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Green Ridge. Green Ridge is pretty arid commonly; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
