Golden Gate Canyon State Park is a splendid location to pop by on a wonderful day, and do take a hike on the Beaver Brook Trail. If you love the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Golden Gate. An afternoon playing golf at Fossil Trace Golf Club is always a diversion, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Creek. Loads of people stay at Golden Gate to be in close proximity to Eldorado State Park. While you're here at Golden Gate you can take a hike along
| the Bolling Gulch Trail; naturally, this is a delightful vicinity for people who like lakes, Ralston Reservoir is a lake close at hand. Head up to Eldora and strap some skis to your feet.
All through the months of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Golden Gate with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Golden Gate. Gate is never a bad idea, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Boulder Creek - South.
This campground is so magnificent. Hiking along the Mesa Trail is delightful fun, and Crawford Gulch is a fine place to check out. Golden Gate is generally a reasonably waterless place;
the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
The caring environment and the capably maintained facilities are in themselves incentive enough to come here. As long as you adore the outdoors you will adore Colorado. When was the last occasion you went for a weekend of camping? Golden Gate in Colorado is exactly the place.
