| | Gold Mountain is positioned in the Front Range. Pike National Forest is a good location to stop at, and a brilliant panorama of scenic Big Bull Mountain is available. Colorado is a delightful place for campers. At this campground you will always have a great time. There's whitewater on South Platte River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and there are some great whitewater spots on Grape Creek. Some folks stay at this campground for the purpose of being near Mueller State Park. Gold Mountain is a campground relatively often visited by the folks in Victor. |

There is a brilliant hiking trail next to Gold Mountain called the Barr Trail; you can go for a hike on the Palmer Trail. If only every location had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. North Fork Wilson Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be
| worth taking a look at, and there are magnificent spots to explore along the Waldo Canyon Trail. Hey, you've been cooped up too long, time has come to get out, and Gold Mountain in Colorado is a really delightful place to spend some time. There is so much entertaining stuff to do in close proximity to Gold Mountain, and camping is such a fun thing to do, and this is a delightful place to do that. if you come at the right time of year, Arkansas River offers some fine whitewater. The welcoming staff and a perfect variety of amusing stuff are motive enough to come here. This campground is a beautiful location to explore. A tour to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument
is recommended, and glorious hiking is available along the Penrose Trail. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more amusing stuff to do in the Front Range. There are plenty of people from Victor here at Gold Mountain, and going for a hike on the Indian Trail is always
a good adventure. Gold Mountain is pretty dried up mostly; July is the month that gets the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's hiking, and whitewater paddling, so almost certainly you want
to stick around. Through the long summer days at Gold Mountain highs are typically in the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Gold Mountain are in the-10's. The delightful pick of local attractions, and so many things to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back time and again.
