Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Other activities include a game room, playground, horseshoes and volleyball, Bingo, line dancing, square dancing, campfire stories and a non-denominational church service. The historic lodge was built in 1919 at Bear Lake in the National
| Park and later moved piece by piece to its present location. In 1965 it was the site for TV westerns such as Bonanza and The Virginian. The outside grill was built by Hoss Cartwright (Dan Blocker) to feed crewmembers and it still exists. In the Lodge stands 1/2 of the mahogany bar from the Windsor Hotel in Denver. It is said that Calamity Jane was refused service because she was a woman so she shot holes in the hotel's bar and ceiling. This is the perfect location for your Rocky Mountain National Park visit.
