There's whitewater on Willow Creek for all you thrill seekers, and nearby you hit upon great places like Kawuneeche Valley. If you're here at Elk Creek Campground and RV Park, you could stop by Little Columbine Creek, and the sights at Rocky Mountain National
Park will blow your mind. Yeah, come here to Elk Creek Campground and RV Park for a brilliant time. You can run the rapids of Cache La Poudre River near Elk Creek Campground and RV Park, and Grand Lake Golf Course is a golf course nearby. It is very dehydrated here at Elk Creek
Campground and RV Park commonly; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This is such a charming campground. Going for a hike on the Outlet Trail is always a great adventure; the slopes of SolVista Basin are so inviting noone can
resist. A visit to Arapaho National Forest when you're here at Elk Creek Campground and RV Park is never a bad idea, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Fraser River. Don't leave Elk Creek Campground and RV Park without first going for a hike along the Green Mountain
Trail; going to Roosevelt National Forest is a wonderful thing to do. This campground is always a delight. Good hiking is available along the Supply Creek Trail; there are other places here than Elk Creek Campground and RV Park, for example Columbine Lake. There are great spots
to discover along the Shadow Mountain Trail, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Surprise Beach. So many exciting things to do here at Elk Creek Campground and RV Park, too nice to be true. There's fine hiking along the Onahu Creek Trail; Elk Creek Campground
and RV Park is not far at all from Grand Lake. During the summer at Elk Creek Campground and RV Park highs are mostly in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Elk Creek Campground and RV Park drop into the 0's.
