Eleven Mile, Front Range, Colorado Custom Search   Lots of folks from Florissant come to Eleven Mile, and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a magnificent national park. This is such a tremendous campground. On a tremendous day at Eleven Mile you can take a hike along     the Phantom Creek Trail, and drift down the rapids of South Platte River in a kayak. Eleven Mile gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and January is when it's the driest. And that's not all you can do here in the Front Range. The Lake Park Trail is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Eleven Mile, and a tour to Pike National Forest is a fine idea. Eleven Mile is a very popular campground among people in Florissant. So much entertaining stuff in the Front Range, just mind-blowing. While you're here at Eleven Mile you can take a hike along the Longwater Trail, and it's a nice idea to visit Adamans Creek. The great selection of local attractions, and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are good causes to come. There's so much to do at Eleven Mile including fishing, swimming,   whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. The Front Range scenery is always picturesque. It's just not possible to run out of cool stuff to do near Eleven Mile; if you're seeking a great place to go camping, this is a wonderful pick. This campground is so tremendous. A wonderful location like Eleven Mile State Park in the vicinity of Eleven Mile is too magnificent to leave out, and Arkansas Gulch is a perfect place to check out. If you adore the outdoors, you'll go for Eleven Mile. If the weather is great here at Eleven Mile, you can go for a hike along the Hankins Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit South Platte River. During the long summer days here at Eleven Mile, high temperatures typically reach the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 30's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Eleven Mile tend to be in the-10's. In Colorado you never run out of outdoors cool stuff. You don’t have to go far from Eleven Mile to make out the water at Lake George Dam. Near Eleven Mile you come across the Rule Ridge Trail which is a fine hiking trail; not far from Eleven Mile you'll discover Lake George which is a beautiful lake.
