It's really unhealthy to be in a building every day; you have to get out of the house now and then; Eleven Mile in Colorado is the outdoors at its greatest. A lot of people camp here through their tour to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. The positive ambiance and scores of cool stuff to do have folks coming from near and far. the Phantom Creek Trail, and drift down the rapids of South Platte River in a kayak. Eleven Mile gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and January is when it's the driest. And that's not all you can do here in the Front Range. The Lake Park Trail
| is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Eleven Mile, and a tour to Pike National Forest is a fine idea. Eleven Mile is a very popular campground among people in Florissant. So much entertaining stuff in the Front Range, just mind-blowing. While you're here at Eleven Mile you can take a hike along the Longwater Trail, and it's a nice idea to visit Adamans Creek. is great here at Eleven Mile, you can go for a hike along the Hankins Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit South Platte River. During the long summer days here at Eleven Mile, high temperatures typically reach the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 30's. High
temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Eleven Mile tend to be in the-10's. In Colorado you never run out of outdoors cool stuff. You don’t have to go far from Eleven Mile to make out the water at Lake George Dam. Near
