Go for a hike on the Round Mountain Trail, and if you've had enough of Echo Lake, Dixon Reservoir is nearby. Echo Lake is a top choice with the folks from   Fort Collins. Why not go to Spring Canyon Dam if you're here; don't leave Echo Lake without first going for a hike along the Wintersteen Trail. Everybody loves Boyd Lake State Park, and there are some great whitewater spots on Cache La Poudre River.
