At Echo Lake you always meet someone from Fort Collins, and the Greyrock Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. There's some flowing water nearby, Dixon Creek is a stream you can stop at while here; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Sheep Creek Trail. This campground is so fine. and College Lake is a good lake nearby. Several people stay at this campground in order to be next to Lory State Park. Having a good time at Echo Lake is trouble-free. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Echo Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold
days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Echo Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Quite a lot of enjoyable stuff to do in close proximity to Echo Lake; you always have a delightful time when you're here. If time allows, Rocky Mountain
National Park is a national park worth stopping at, and going for a hike along the Jug Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Echo Lake is a popular spot with campers from Fort Collins. All the outdoors fun stuff right next door to Echo Lake will
keep you coming back persistently. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River, and near Echo Lake you locate a golf course called Fort Collins Country Club Golf.
