Echo Lake - Arapaho National Forest, Front Range, Colorado   Yeah, come here to Echo Lake for a great time. All the merry folks and the brilliant loads of fun activities attract people from far and wide. Hiking along the Sheep Creek Trail is glorious fun, and get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Cache La Poudre River. You've got to get out of the house, and Echo Lake in Colorado is a tremendous site to go. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Front Range has to offer. If you haven’t been to Rocky Mountain National Park, you have to schedule some time for it while you're     here, and a journey to Lory State Park is a tremendous idea. Echo Lake is a magnificent camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Front Range. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Front Range rules! There's delightful hiking along the Jug Trail, and there are some good whitewater spots on Cache La Poudre River. There is so much entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Echo Lake, and being here is tremendous fun any time. You don’t have to go far from Echo Lake to observe the water at Spring Canyon Dam; a spree to Boyd Lake State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Some of the things you can do here at Echo Lake are fishing, swimming, playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Echo Lake is esteemed by people from Fort Collins. So   much cool stuff to do here at Echo Lake, too good to be true. A golf course right next door to Echo Lake is Fort Collins Country Club Golf, and hey, Dixon Creek is a splendid local stream. This is a brilliant campground. A lake nearby is Dixon Reservoir; do take a hike on the Greyrock Trail. There's whitewater on Big Thompson River for all you adrenaline people, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Echo Lake; Round Mountain Trail is a good local trail. All the delightful local attractions in the neighborhood and all the outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Several people stay at this campground when going to Lory State Park. Echo Lake gets very little rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. This campground is so brilliant. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Wintersteen Trail, and lots of folks from Fort Collins come here. At Echo Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Echo Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. While stopping by this area in Colorado it's a tremendous idea to go camping for a couple of days too.
