Durango KOA Kampground gets a normal amount of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is June. Get drenched paddling on Hermosa Creek, needless to say you could also have a look at Smith Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.

Creek, and hiking along the Highline Loop Trail is perfect fun. This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer. Swamps like Mitchell Lakes are fun to pop by, and hey, Elbert Creek is a delightful local stream. Durango KOA Kampground is loved by the folks in Durango.
So many exciting things near Durango KOA Kampground, and being here is always fun. So much cool stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too glorious to be true. Take a hike on the Circle Trail; Animas River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby. Durango

If you're here, you might as well stop by Treasure Pass, and great water scenery is available at Keeler Dam right next door to Durango KOA Kampground. You just ought to have a thing about Durango KOA Kampground.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Highline Trail, and why not head up to Purgatory and strap some skis to your feet. Summertime at Durango KOA Kampground comes with high temperatures in the 70's with overnight lows in the 30's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Durango KOA Kampground.
