| | This campground is a delightful place to stop by. While you're here at Dinner Station, you could also stop at gorgeous Sweitzer Lake, and at Dinner Station you always meet someone from Delta. Dinner Station is often visited by campers from Delta. It's totally impossible to get bored in Colorado if you go for the outdoors. Get dripping wet paddling on Kannah Creek, and brilliant hiking is available along the Winter Mesa Trail. There's such an incredible array of things to do at Dinner Station including fishing, swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, |
and playing golf, so it's impossible to get bored. This is such a fun place for a campground. Drift down the rapids of Escalante Creek in a kayak, and there's great hiking along the Bull and Brown Trail. Around Dinner Station you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during October
| this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Lots of folks stay at Dinner Station in order to be near Sweitzer State Park. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Dinner Station is excellent! Some of the water close by flows, like Dry Creek. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Gunnison River; the Blue Grouse Trail offers hiking at its best. of skiing at nearby Powderhorn, and Garnet Mesa Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. A journey to Dry Gulch is always fun, and you can go for a hike on the Point Trail. Sweitzer State Park is a splendid spot to go if you're at Dinner Station, and for you golfers

at Dinner Station, and don't leave Dinner Station without first going for a hike along the Point Camp Trail. High temperatures at Dinner Station during the summer are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dinner Station are in the 10's.
