If only every site had this much outdoors fun things, what a great globe it would be. This is a brilliant area for people who like lakes. Sweitzer Lake is a lake close at hand, and there's good hiking along the Blue Grouse Trail.

The Winter Mesa Trail offers hiking at its best. Not much rain falls here at Delta - Grand Mesa Koa; October is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. While going to this vicinity in Colorado it's a wonderful idea to go for a weekend of camping too.

There are plenty of folks from Delta here at Delta - Grand Mesa Koa, and there's whitewater on Gunnison River for all you adrenaline junkies.
