Cutty's Resort, Colorado   I've been going to Cutty's since it first opened, when I was in Jr. High. I'm now an adult with children of my own, and we go to Cutty's every year. We LOVE it. I hope they continue to keep this campground open for years to come. Says ~*J*~ Cutty's Resort in Hayden Creek is surrounded by National Parkland in the Rockies of Central Colorado. From the secluded campground you can hike through hundreds of miles of mountain range fish and whitewater raft on the nearby Arkansas River and four wheel over the old mountain roads. Amenities include Indoor     Pool Outdoor Pool Sauna Tennis Basketball Shuffleboard.Take Us 50 43 miles west of Canon City to Coaldale then turn south on Hayden Creek Road and travel 3.5 miles to the resort. Arkansas River is a perfect whitewater spot right next door to Cutty's Resort, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Black Mountain Trail. This is such a beautiful campground. If the weather is nice here at Cutty's Resort, you can go for a hike along the Steel Canyon Trail, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River. There is a magnificent hiking trail right next door to Cutty's Resort called the Hunts Lake Trail, and a great place to visit is Cedar Springs Gulch. This campground is always a joy. You unquestionably ought to check out Rio Grande National Forest since you're   here at Cutty's Resort. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. The Crossover Trail is a glorious hiking trail close to Cutty's Resort, and on a delightful day you get a great panorama of Gobblers Knob from Cutty's Resort. You can run the rapids of Arkansas River in the neighborhood of Cutty's Resort, and Cutty's Resort is not far at all from Coaldale. Going for a hike along the Rainbow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Hayden Creek. Cutty's Resort is usually a quite dry spot; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Throughout the summer months here at Cutty's Resort, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Cutty's Resort nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
