This campground is so splendid. Going for a hike on the Minnesota Pass Trail is always a delightful adventure; lots of people from Somerset come here. Anthracite Creek - Ruby Fork is a brilliant whitewater spot     next to Crystal Meadows Ranch. Around Crystal Meadows Ranch you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout August, and the driest of the months is February. If you're here at Crystal Meadows Ranch, you could take a look at Anthracite Creek; everyone nearby loves skiing at Sunlight Mountain. The warmest time of the year at Crystal Meadows Ranch comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Crystal Meadows Ranch tend to be in the-10's. There is a wonderful hiking trail right next door to Crystal Meadows Ranch called the Munsey Ruby Stock Driveway, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Gunnison River - North Fork.
