| | Loads of folks choose this campground for the purpose of being near Crawford State Park. So many cool things to do at Crawford, so little time. Paddling on Gunnison River is so much fun, and nearby you discover the Through Line Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. The workforce of this good campground and the nice large number of fun activities are cause enough to come here. Crawford is a campground rather frequently visited by folks in Crawford.

So much entertaining stuff in close proximity to Crawford, and campgrounds like these are good. Don't leave Crawford without first going for a hike along the Cureranti Pass Trail, and locations like Crawford State Park are good to stop at.
| Since you're here at Crawford why not check out Buck Canyon, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Hartman Trail. It's really unhealthy to be in a building every day; you have to get out of the house from time to time, and Crawford in Colorado is the outdoors at its greatest.

This section of Colorado has a good deal of outdoors activities at your disposal. There's loads of outdoors recreation available around here such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. The delightful
pick of local attractions, and the nearby outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back time and again.
If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gunnison River, and there are fine locations to discover along the Hammond
Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Crawford. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Crawford drop into the 10's. Take a side journey to Muddy Creek, and Paonia State Park is a tremendous place.
