| | Cold Springs is a fine camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Front Range. For the period of the summertime months at Cold Springs highs are typically in the 80's; the overnight is slightly chillier of course, typically in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows throughout the winter for Cold Springs tend to be in the 10's. There's such a great deal of things to do at Cold Springs including whitewater paddling, hiking, playing golf, swimming, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do. this campground and lots of fun things to do will make you feel magnificent. Good hiking is available along the Sheep Creek Trail; you can run the rapids of Big Thompson River. Just can't get enough of the Front Range. There are nice locations to look at along the Wintersteen
| Trail, and Cold Springs is a site with many visitors from Fort Collins. A visit to Colorado is not complete without some camping. Don't leave Cold Springs without first going for a hike along the Greyrock Trail, and unsurprisingly, this is a good vicinity for folks who like lakes, College Lake is a lake nearby. You have to get out, and Cold Springs in Colorado is a perfect selection. you might not ever want to return home again. Cold Springs is a campground rather often visited by people of Fort Collins. This campground is so good. Near Cold Springs you find the Jug Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Cache La
Poudre River. A lot of people camp here in order to be near Lory State Park. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Cold Springs. Going for a hike on the Round Mountain Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and playing golf is lots of fun at Fort Collins Country
Club Golf. And if that's not enough there's a load more entertaining things to do in the Front Range. Dixon Creek is a magnificent local stream, and Boyd Lake State Park is a great location. A campground like this is too good to miss. Get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater
of Cache La Poudre River, and Lory State Park is a pleasant place to stop at. At Cold Springs fun stuff to do is plentiful, and it is a fun place for the whole family. It is very arid here at Cold Springs commonly; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the
one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Spring Canyon Dam close to Cold Springs, and stopping by Rocky Mountain National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
