| | This campground has so unbelievably much. There are plenty of people from Fort Collins here at Chicago Creek, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Wintersteen Trail. The welcoming ambiance and the capably taken care of facilities have people coming here. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Boyd Lake State Park is a delightful site to go to, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Round Mountain Trail. here to check out nearby Lory State Park. There's such a large number of things to do at Chicago Creek including swimming, hiking, playing golf, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. Chicago Creek is one of the sites to camp here in the Front Range. This

Near Chicago Creek you locate the Sheep Creek Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Fort Collins Country Club Golf is around here. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Chicago Creek; the night is somewhat chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. Creek has it all. Paddling on Big Thompson River is so much fun, and Lory State Park is a lovely location any time of year. So many amusing things to do in the Front Range, not sufficient time. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Cache La Poudre River; you can have a perfect hiking
adventure along the Jug Trail. Chicago Creek is pretty dried up typically; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. There is so much amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Chicago Creek, and it is a perfect campground. Get dripping wet paddling
on Cache La Poudre River; of course Dixon Creek flows through this area. Chicago Creek is enormously popular with people from Fort Collins.
