There are RV hookups for your RV here, and in case you're bringing a boat, you can launch it at the boat ramp. There's a great restaurant that will stop your hunger; don't forget your fishing pole because this place has some good fishing. Of course there are showers at this campground,

There are power hookups at this campground, and this is a fine spot for boating. Everyone likes bicycling here, and on a pleasant day at Chatfield you can enjoy a pleasant barbeque at the picnic area. South Platte River has a close by whitewater run; the Confluence of Cherry Creek and South Platte section is a great 0.5-mile-long grade II-III run of whitewater. for whitewater boaters who have been whitewater paddling for a while but who are not yet set for the especially risky rapids. Always check current conditions in advance of a trip whitewater paddling because whitewater paddling is

a risky endeavor. Nearby Lilley Gulch is a nice place to go if you're at Chatfield; why not take a little spree to Deer Creek if you're here. During a winter visit to Chatfield you could also stop by Affordable Mark's Snowmobile and rent a snow mobile. A good game of mini golf is always enjoyable at PUTT-PUTT Golf Courses, and going for a horse ride at nearby Chatfield Stables is always a fun thing to do.
