| | A number of people select Chatfield in order to be near Chatfield Lake State Recreation Area. The staff that runs this campground and the wonderful facilities have people coming here. A campground like this is too brilliant to miss. At Chatfield you always meet someone from Denver, and an afternoon playing golf at Pinehurst Country Club is always a diversion. Chatfield Dam is a striking place close to Chatfield; if you're a golfer then a fine nearby course is Raccoon Creek Golf Course.

lake like Bowles Reservoir Number One is a brilliant location to stop by. Chatfield is a location that is reasonably dried up mostly; the month with most of the rain is May while January is regularly the driest month.
Places like Roxborough State Park are wonderful to go to;
| golf can be played at Columbine Country Club. Chatfield is a campground loved by people from Denver.
Have a fine hiking adventure along the Beaver Brook Trail; Chatfield Lake State Recreation Area is a stunning site any time of year. Some of the things you can do here at Chatfield are swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, playing golf, and fishing, so it's totally impossible to get bored. Chatfield is situated in a region with lots of entertaining stuff to do, and it's one of those sites where everything is fine.

Be careful coming
to Chatfield, you might not ever want to go back home again. A brilliant place in close proximity to Chatfield is Lilley Gulch, and swing by Deer Creek it's a glorious site to pop by. This is a brilliant campground. If you come at the right time of year, South Platte River offers
some good whitewater. At Chatfield through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 40's; nighttime lows at Chatfield during the winter typically fall into the 10's.
Colorado has such a vast number of things to offer nature lovers.
