terrain being easy; there are good ski trails for any ability at Copper Mountain. The 125 ski trails of Copper Mountain are all fun and are served by 23 different ski lifts. The drop is 2,601 feet, and this ski resort gets covered by 23 feet of ice cold snow every season. Arkansas River has a category I-II part of whitewater nearby. The 18-mile-from-beginning-to-end Leadville to Granite portion is great to paddle.
