Camp Hale Memorial is great! What would winter be without some skiing at Sunlight Mountain, and paddling on Roaring Fork is so much fun. Colorado has such an incredible array of things to offer nature lovers. A quick spree to Threemile Creek in the vicinity of Camp Hale Memorial is a tremendous idea, and Camp Hale Memorial is near Red Canyon which is without doubt worth a visit. | |

The wonderful variety of local attractions and such a wonderful variety of outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back again and again. At Camp Hale Memorial you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is October, and February meanwhile is the driest
month. This is a brilliant campground. During your trip to Camp Hale Memorial you'll meet some folks from Glenwood Springs for sure, and Rifle Falls State Park is both nice and beautiful. A lake close by is Hughes Reservoir; you positively have to go to Harvey Gap State Park
since you're here. There's loads of outdoors recreation available close at hand such as fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, playing golf, and hiking, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen.
