Burning Mountain RV Park, Colorado

  This is such a good campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Burning Mountain RV Park; Fayville Trail is a great local trail; you'll meet a lot of folks from New Castle here. Several people camp here for the purpose of being near Harvey Gap State Park. Good hiking is available along the Last Chance Trail, and if you're a golfer then a fine nearby course is Lakota Canyon Golf Club.
There's whitewater on Colorado River for all you adrenaline junkies. A trip to Burning Mountain RV Park wouldn’t be complete without a trip to close by Rifle
    Falls State Park, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Sunlight Mountain is pretty near.

as hiking, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so there's absolutely no way to get bored.

Summer at Burning Mountain RV Park arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 50's.
