Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Burning Mountain RV Park.
    At Burning Mountain RV Park you don’t see much precipitation; throughout October this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
Burning Mountain RV Park is right by the Last Chance Trail; this is a popular place for folks from New Castle. With so
much stuff to do in Colorado you'll never get bored. A number of folks pick this campground when going to Harvey Gap State Park.
Rifle Falls State Park is a fine site to pop by on a pretty day, and hiking along the Fayville Trail is glorious fun. So many exciting things in close proximity to Burning Mountain RV Park, and it is a very delightful campground. Burning Mountain RV Park is an old favorite with the folks from New Castle.
Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Lakota Canyon Golf Club, and a journey to Harvey Gap
 
State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. The surroundings of this campground have such an incredible array of things to offer. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Oyster Lake Trail, and Burning Mountain RV Park is not the only place close by, Barton Porter Reservoir is a close by lake. All the nice local attractions around here and such an incredible array of things to do will make you pleased you came.
Head up to Sunlight Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and if you come at the right time of year, Roaring Fork offers some magnificent whitewater. This campground is so magnificent.
Everybody needs to go for a camping trip every so often, and Burning Mountain RV Park is a delightful local campground if you happen to be in Colorado.
