Cabins. Vallecito Reservoir is a wonderful lake next to Blue Spruce RV Park and Cabins, and do take a hike on the Pine-Piedra Stock Driveway. If you come at the right time of year, Vallecito Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. Hiking along the Whitehead Trail is wonderful fun,
| and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Animas River.
If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Hit the slopes at Silverton in the neighborhood, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Deer Park Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Canyon Creek, and a journey here wouldn’t be complete without a journey to nearby San Juan National Forest.
