Aspen Glade - Rio Grande National Forest, Colorado   On a delightful day at Aspen Glade you can take a hike along the Alamosa River Trail, and this is a popular location for folks from Monte Vista. If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's hiking, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so it's not possible to get bored. Aspen Glade is a very popular old favorite campground among the people of Monte Vista. It is very dried out here at Aspen Glade ordinarily; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while January is typically the driest month. Summer at Aspen Glade     comes with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Aspen Glade through the winter typically drop into the-10's. This is really a delightful campground. A golf course near Aspen Glade is Monte Vista Golf Club; if you're here you can take a hike along the North Fork Dry Creek Trail. So many cool things right next door to Aspen Glade, and it is a magnificent campground. Whitewater paddling is nice on Conejos River, and you positively have to have a look at San Luis State Park if you're here. The magnificent people who control this place and the nice abundance of fun activities will make you feel great. Such a great pick of attractions and all the outdoors recreation are wonderful incentives to come.
