Near Arkansas Headwaters you discover the Round Hill Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River. Arkansas River is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Arkansas Headwaters, and San Isabel National Forest is a great site to stretch your legs a bit.

time for sure. Places like Spinney State Park are great to stop at, and there are great locations to explore along the Hunts Lake Trail. Monarch has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff; here at Arkansas Headwaters you can distinguish Tenderfoot Hill. The glorious choice of local
| attractions, and all the outdoors recreation will make you glad you came.
Going for a hike on the Simmons Peak Trail is always a fine adventure; whitewater paddling is fine on Arkansas River. Anxious to raise that tent; Arkansas Headwaters is a nice local campground if you happen to be in Colorado.
Arkansas Headwaters is a very popular campground with the people of Salida. Around Arkansas Headwaters you don’t get a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and January is when it's the driest. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Arkansas | |

Headwaters while nighttime lows are generally in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Arkansas Headwaters are in the 0's.
Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Arkansas
Headwaters. Golf can be played at Salida Golf Club; there's some flowing water close by, Williams Hamm Ditch is a stream you can check out while here. In Colorado you never run out of outdoors entertaining things. Arkansas Headwaters is not far at all from Salida, and glorious
hiking is available along the Round Mountain Trail.
There is so much amusing stuff to do next to Arkansas Headwaters; it is a very nice campground. This campground has so much cool stuff to offer. Don't leave Arkansas Headwaters without first going for a hike along the Ute
Trail, and as expected, A tour to Cottonwood Gulch is always fun. If you love the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's hiking, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so running out of enjoyable things to do won’t happen.
