a fun location for a campground. Hiking along the Point Trail is great fun, and why not check out nearby Dry Creek while you're here at Amphitheater. So many local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are nice reasons to come. There are some splendid
whitewater spots on Kannah Creek; Garnet Mesa Dam has good water scenery. As if Amphitheater wasn't sufficient, you can also go fishing, whitewater paddling, playing golf, swimming, and hiking, so running out of entertaining stuff to do won’t happen. This campground is a pretty
location to stop at. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Gunnison River; you definitely should explore Sweitzer State Park since you're here. Have a good hiking adventure along the Point Camp Trail, and Amphitheater is next to Grand Mesa National Forest which is a striking site.
Enjoy a round of golf at Devil's Thumb Golf Club not far from Amphitheater, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Bull and Brown Trail. You clearly ought to fancy Amphitheater. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Powderhorn is near Amphitheater. While dropping by this neighborhood in Colorado it's a nice idea to go for a weekend of camping too.
