All the pleasant local attractions close at hand and the nearby outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back repeatedly. Pike National Forest is a good place to visit, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Alpine Lakes Resort; Rule Creek Trail is a nice local trail.
