There's lots of outdoors recreation available in close proximity such as fishing, playing golf, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. A lot of people camp here for the purpose of being next to Yosemite
| National Park. Yeah, come up here to the Central Sierra Nevada for a great time. Golf can be played at Sierra Meadows Country Club; there's good hiking along the Chilnualna Fall Trail.
From a rain point of view Wishon Bass Lake is a reasonably normal place; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is July. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Fresno River, and playing golf is lots of fun at Ahwahnee Golf Course.
