Kaweah River - Middle Fork is a pleasant whitewater spot next to White River, and if you haven’t been to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here. The yearly rainfall here at White River is about average; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Kaweah River - North Fork, and don’t forget to explore Willow Meadow if you're here at White River. White River is a top choice with residents of Sequoia National Park. So much entertaining stuff in the neighborhood of White River, and when you're here you're always having a fine time. It's really not good for you to be in a building every day; you have to get out now and then,   and White River in California is the outdoors at its most excellent. Several folks stay here to be near Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park. This is such a nice campground. Going for a hike along the Sheep Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and people from Sequoia National Park love to come here. At White River throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 40's while the cold winter nights at White River are in the 20's. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Southern Sierra Nevada. Hiking along the High Sierra Trail is brilliant fun; almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Twin Lakes is just a very short distance away. The caring operators of the campground and the competently kept up facilities will make you feel magnificent. This is such a gorgeous campground. The Atwell Hockett Trail is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of White River, and a quick journey to Clover Creek is absolutely a brilliant idea. The Southern Sierra Nevada scenery is always gorgeous. A visit to California is not complete without some camping.
