From a rain point of view Whispering Pines is a pretty normal site; during December this area sees the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is such a beautiful campground. The vista of beautiful Browns Mountain near Whispering Pines is fine; paddling on Trinity River is so much fun. Drift down the rapids of Canyon Creek in a kayak, and Shasta National Forest is a fine place to check out on a beautiful day.
