A beautiful hiking trail close by, 21.4 miles from start to finish, having an altitude difference of 5,112 feet is   Cannell Meadow Trail. Cannell Meadow Trail is a difficult three days of backcountry backpacking. A perfect spot to bowl in the vicinity of Weldon KOA Kampground is MT Mesa Lanes Bowling. Lots of folks from Weldon come to Weldon KOA Kampground; you can never get enough of the good skiing at Shirley Meadow.
