Get yourself into a kayak and hit Piru Creek, and a spree to Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is recommended. The wonderful selection of local attractions, and such a wonderful variety of outdoors recreation are fine causes to come. Going for a hike along the Yerba Buena Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Knollwood Country Club.
