the winter at U-wanna Camp temperatures dip to the 30's. What a site this is for outdoors people. You can run the rapids of Big Sulphur Creek close to U-wanna Camp; you'll meet a lot of people from Lakeport here. You could also have a look at Lakeport Lake if you're here at
U-wanna Camp; it's nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Elk Knob Trail. This campground is a delightful location to visit. There's good hiking along the Bucknell Trail; why not stop at nearby South Fork Scotts Creek since you're here at U-wanna Camp. So much cool stuff
in the Coast Ranges, just inspiring. A splendid spot for whitewater paddling near U-wanna Camp is Little Sulphur Creek, and you positively must check out Clear Lake State Park while you're here. In California you never run out of outdoors exciting things. U-wanna Camp sees pretty high levels of rain; January is when you get the most rain here, and July on the other hand is the driest.
