Upper Little Truckee sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout January, and the driest month of the year is July. Several people select this campground to be close to Empire Mine State Park.

You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area right next door to Upper Little Truckee has to offer. Upper Little
Truckee is right by the Humbug Trail; Yuba River - South Fork is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. Throughout the summer months at Upper Little Truckee temperatures are mostly in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. During the winter highs
are in the 40's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Upper Little Truckee tend to be in the 20's. Going for a hike along the Green Valley Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you get bored of Upper Little Truckee you could also explore nearby
Lava Cap Reservoir.
California is a great site for campers. This is a brilliant campground. Malakoff Diggins State Park is a great place to have a look at on a beautiful day; a magnificent location nearby is Eagle Ravine.
Hiking along the Lafayette Ridge Trail is splendid
fun; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Quail Valley Golf Course. Upper Little Truckee is to be found in the Northern Sierra Nevada. These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Have a good hiking adventure along the Halls Ranch Trail, and Selby Flat is a wonderful location.
