Tucalota Springs RV Park and Campground, Santa Rosa Mountains, California

We visited Tucalota Springs RV Park the first week-end in February 2007. We liked it a lot. It's a small campground but it is very clean. The sites are large to. All of the sites have fire pits and they have full hook ups. They also have tent areas. They have a store on the premises stocked with most of the items you may need while camping. There is a solar heated swimming pool, basketball court, volleyball court and a couple of horseshoe pits. There are also trails to ride your bike on and there is a little lake for fishing. Its catch and release and you
will need to purchase a license from their store for $5.00. You won't get cell phone service but if you feel like taking a nice walk up the hill there will be a bench waiting for you and you will get service there. The people who worked there were very friendly. We will definitely
go back! Says Sharon-Lakewood, CA

You without doubt have to have a look at Palomar Mountain State Park while you're here at Tucalota Springs RV Park and Campground; Bear Mountain is a fine local ski area. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. This campground is a good place to explore. Mount San Jacinto State Park is both fine and picturesque, and it's next to Tucalota Springs RV Park and Campground; you could always explore Willow Canyon. This site, the Santa Rosa Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. Hiking is a popular thing

to do around Tucalota Springs RV Park and Campground; Mission Trail is a pleasant local trail; Santa Margarita River is a glorious whitewater spot close by.
Go for a hike on the Rouse Hill-Bautista Canyon Trail, and playing golf is lots of fun at Diamond Valley Golf Club. High temperatures at Tucalota Springs RV Park and Campground during the summertime are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's; winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Tucalota Springs RV Park and Campground. Tucalota Springs RV Park and Campground is regularly a quite waterless location; most of the rain falls during January, and the driest month of the year is June.
So many entertaining things to do in the Santa Rosa Mountains, not sufficient time. Good hiking is available along the Magee Trail, and there are great locations to explore along the Alessandro Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Tucalota Springs RV Park and Campground. Don't leave Tucalota Springs RV Park and Campground without first going for a hike along the Aguanga Trail; people from Hemet love to come here.
