There is so much exciting stuff near Texas Flats, and it is a very magnificent campground. Texas Flats is not far at all from Clovis, and if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Palm Lakes Golf Course.

of the nice skiing at Sierra Summit, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Gates Lake.
Some of the things you can do here at Texas Flats are playing golf, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so running out of cool things to do
| won’t happen. All the positive people and the ably maintained facilities are a delightful attraction for scores of folks. The delightful local attractions and the delightful variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came.

Texas Flats is frequently a pretty dried up place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. Texas Flats is incredibly well prized by the folks of Clovis.
