Sweetwater - Sierra National Forest, California   A lot of folks stay at this campground throughout their spree to Millerton Lake State Park. Around Sweetwater you don’t get a lot of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July. Some activities here at Sweetwater are whitewater paddling, playing golf, swimming, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do. The pleasant ambiance and the satisfactorily operated operations are a splendid pull for scores of people. Lots of people from Clovis come to Sweetwater, and Millerton Lake State Park is a wonderful     location to stretch your legs a bit. This is such a fun site for a campground. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Joaquin River; golf can be played at Palm Lakes Golf Course. California has loads of outdoors activities. You have to get out; Sweetwater in California is such a delightful place. Yosemite National Park is a very splendid spot to pop by close to Sweetwater. Lakes? Sure, Gates Lake is nearby. Sweetwater is a campground prized by the folks of Clovis. Throughout the summer at Sweetwater highs are commonly in the 90's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Sweetwater are in the 30's.
