The Sand Bar Flat Dam to Camp 9 Powerhouse   segment on Stanislaus River - Middle Fork is a close by grade IV-V+ whitewater part, 14 miles long. This part of Stanislaus River - Middle Fork is fitting for whitewater boaters who have been whitewater boating for a bit. Don't go whitewater boating ahead of first checking restrictions; it's treacherous business.
