This campground is so great. If the weather is fine here at Stoney Creek, you can go for a hike along the Don Cecil Trail, and if you're visiting from Sequoia National Park, you won't be the only one. So much cool stuff in the Southern Sierra Nevada, just extraordinary. On a great day at Stoney Creek you can take a hike along the Atwell Hockett Trail, and glide down the rapids of Kaweah River - Middle Fork in a kayak.

Creek; getting to Clover Creek from Stoney Creek is painless. There is so much fun stuff to do next to Stoney Creek, and it's one of those locations where everything is wonderful. This is such a great campground. Do pay a visit to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park if you're here at Stoney Creek, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Kaweah River - North Fork.
There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Stoney Creek. If you come at the right time of year, Kaweah River offers some tremendous whitewater, and since you're here, you could also have a look at charming Twin Lakes. Stoney Creek is exceptionally well prized by residents of Sequoia National Park. Stoney Creek is to be found in the Southern Sierra Nevada.
There's heaps of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Hiking along the High Sierra Trail is great fun, and Congress Group is a peak you can see from Stoney Creek. Camping in California is such an enjoyable thing to do.
