There's so many things to do right next door to Steckel Park Campground, and it is one of many nice campgrounds in this area. We must all go camping for a couple of days sometimes, and Steckel Park Campground, California is a nice spot for getting out. The people who care for the campground and the admirably run operations are reason enough to come here. |

This campground is so great. Steckel Park Campground is right by the Rose Lion Trail, and San Buenaventura State Beach is a delightful site to go to. During the summertime at Steckel Park Campground highs are generally in the 90's; the overnight is a little colder of course, usually
| in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Steckel Park Campground temperatures plunge to the 30's. Not much precipitation falls here at Steckel Park Campground; the month with most of the rain is February, and the driest month is July. Some activities here at Steckel Park Campground are whitewater paddling, hiking, and playing golf, so you won’t run out of things to do. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Campground is Anlauf Canyon, and there are plenty of people from Santa Paula here. California has loads of outdoors activities. This campground has so much cool stuff to offer. The Horn Canyon Trail offers hiking at its best, and an afternoon playing golf at Mountain View Golf
Course is always a diversion. Carneros Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here; as expected, all our national parks are good spots to go to and Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is no exception. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Steckel
Park Campground; Last Chance Trail is a tremendous local trail. Such a brilliant pick of attractions and all the outdoors recreation will definitely have you coming back many times. Take a hike on the Middle Sespe Trail; Channel Islands National Park is a wonderful national
park. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Sierra Madre. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Sespe Creek, and McGrath State Beach is a great site. Steckel Park Campground is incredibly well liked by the folks in
Santa Paula. Steckel Park Campground really is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Reed Reef Trail, and there's whitewater on Piru Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
