Go for a hike on the Elk Prairie Trail, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Redwood Creek. A magnificent location for whitewater paddling close to Sounds Of The Sea is Redwood Creek, and swing by Beach Creek it's a magnificent spot to explore. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges. Klamath River is a delightful whitewater spot near Sounds Of The Sea,   and Lookout Rock is an out of the ordinary thing to spot while you're here. At last, it's time for a camping trip again, and Sounds Of The Sea, California is a delightful site for getting out. Palmers Point is rather right next door to Sounds Of The Sea; nearby you come across the Rim Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Sounds Of The Sea, and the night is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's while Sounds Of The Sea overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 30's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Sounds Of The Sea a wet site; December is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. A number of folks stay at Sounds Of The Sea when going to Cannonball Beach. This campground is so picturesque. There are brilliant places to explore along the Tsurai Trail; you'll discover a beautiful lake called Big Lagoon. Some activities here at Sounds Of The Sea are swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so possibly you want to stick around for a while. Patrick's Point State Park is a wonderful location to stretch your legs a bit, and beaches are great and Cannonball Beach is no exception.
