A perfect site to visit in the neighborhood of Smithwoods RV Park is Gold Gulch, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pescadero Creek. Hiking along the Sequoia Nature Trail is glorious fun, and while you're here you can play some golf at Pasatiempo Golf Club.
