| | I have been going to Silverwood Lake for the past 23 years. Great Boating, water skiing, fishing and Camping. Lake is not within walking distance from camping is biggest drawback. It is always windy at Silverwood. Says Bill

State Recreation Area, and when you're here you're always having a tremendous time. Don't leave Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area without first going for a hike along the Coldwater Trail, and there are good places to look at along the Horsethief Trail.
