The Northern Sierra Nevada is peerless! If you feel like a little side spree, try Cedar Ravine, and if you come at the right time of year, American River - South Fork offers some pleasant whitewater. Lots of folks pick this campground to be near Marshall Gold Discovery State Park. The wonderful variety of local attractions and the wonderful variety of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. Yeah, come here to Silver Lake East for a fine time. Silver Lake East is not the only location nearby, Depot Lake is a nearby lake, and Indian Grinding Rock State Park is a nice site to stretch your legs a bit. There's absolutely no way to run out of cool things to do close to Silver Lake East; you always have a good time when you're here. All through the summertime months here at Silver Lake East, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Silver Lake East. When you're here at Silver Lake East it's always fun to stop by Marshall Gold Discovery State Park.
