Shivshaneen Co, Coast Ranges, California   Shivshaneen Co is a campground that is incredibly prized by the residents of Orleans. The magnificent variety of local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. The personnel of this wonderful campground and the nicely looked after facilities are in themselves reason enough to come here. Paddling on Salmon River is so much fun, and hey, Camp Creek is a great local stream. All the water falling down from the sky makes Shivshaneen Co a wet place; most of the rain falls throughout December, and July on the other hand     is the driest. Hiking along the Salmon Summit Recreation Trail is splendid fun, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Klamath River. This campground is so pretty. Bacon Flat is a delightful location; a tour to Klamath National Forest when you're here is never a bad idea. What a place this is for outdoors people. While you're here at Shivshaneen Co you will meet lots of people from nearby Orleans, and do take a hike on the Horse Ridge National Scenic Trail. All through the summer months at Shivshaneen Co highs are commonly in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 50's with temperatures at Shivshaneen Co dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Shivshaneen Co is one of the places to camp here in the Coast Ranges. You can't spend all   your time indoors; you have to get out of the house every now and then, and Shivshaneen Co in California is a wonderful site to go. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Coast Ranges, not sufficient time. You definitely should visit Six Rivers National Forest if you're here at Shivshaneen Co; if you're addicted to cool geologic characteristics try Big Rock. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Coast Ranges. A delightful spot right next door to Shivshaneen Co is Whiteys Gulch. This segment of California has a wonderful deal of outdoors activities offered. There is so much enjoyable stuff close to Shivshaneen Co, and to be here is always fun.
