This camp ground is to be found in the gorgeous Northern Sierra Nevada. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, swimming, fishing, hiking, and playing golf, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. Several people stay at Shirttail Creek |
for the purpose of being near Empire Mine State Park. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Sierra Nevada. There are plenty of folks from Nevada City here at Shirttail Creek, and since you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Nevada County Country Club.
| Coming to this campground is always a good idea. A lake nearby is Lake Vera; there are some good whitewater spots on Yuba River - Middle Fork. With such an incredible array of things to do in California you'll never get bored.
This campground is so gorgeous. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Yuba River - South Fork, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Humbug Trail. Course, and Shirttail Creek is near Empire Mine State Park which is a stunning place. Shirttail Creek is a very popular campground among the people from Nevada City.
Shirttail Creek is right by the Lafayette Ridge Trail, and Eagle Ravine is a glorious location to spend some
time. The nice local attractions and such a vast number of things to do will definitely have you coming back again and again. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Shirttail Creek. Take a hike on the Halls Ranch Trail, and Malakoff Diggins State Park is a delightful
place to stretch your legs a bit.
You've gotta get out; Shirttail Creek in California is a really magnificent place to spend some time. A great view of wonderful Sugarloaf Mountain is available from Shirttail Creek, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Green
Valley Trail.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Shirttail Creek; South Yuba Trail is a glorious local trail, and if you're here, you could go to Gold Run. Shirttail Creek gets a great deal of water; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here while
July is regularly the driest month.
There is so much amusing stuff to do right next door to Shirttail Creek; when you're here you're always having a magnificent time. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. Everybody loves Selby Flat.
The pleasant folks working here and loads of enjoyable things to do are incentive enough to come here.
Throughout the summertime months here at Shirttail Creek, high temperatures typically get into the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows at Shirttail Creek during the wintertime commonly sink into the 20's.
