How long has it been since you went for a camping trip? Shirttail Creek in California is such a glorious place. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a fine time. You'll meet a lot of people from Nevada City here, and Malakoff Diggins State Park is both brilliant and beautiful. |

All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back time and again. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - Middle Fork; the Green Valley Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close
| by. This is such a nice campground. Take a side spree to Gold Run, and the vista of Sugarloaf Mountain is striking. This campground is so nice. Eagle Ravine is a good site to pop by nearby, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Lafayette Ridge Trail. At Shirttail Creek all through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Shirttail Creek. Vera is a lake in close proximity; hiking along the South Yuba Trail is delightful fun. The helpful operators of the campground and the great wealth of fun activities makes the visit here worthwhile. Shirttail Creek is an old favorite with campers from Nevada City. Empire Mine
State Park is a fine place to stop at on a wonderful day; a golf course close by is Nevada County Country Club. Shirttail Creek is a relatively wet place regularly with much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that rains the most,
and July is when it's the driest. The tremendous selection of local attractions, and the close by outdoors recreation are wonderful motives to come. Several folks camp here when they come to go to Empire Mine State Park. Shirttail Creek is situated in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the fun stuff you can do is fishing, playing golf, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so it's not possible to get bored. There are so many exciting things right next door to Shirttail Creek; if you're seeking a glorious place to
go for a camping trip, this is a great choice. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. Yuba River - South Fork is a magnificent whitewater spot close to Shirttail Creek; if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Halls Ranch Trail.
Selby Flat is right here at Shirttail Creek, and going for a hike along the Humbug Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Shirttail Creek is excellent! Near Shirttail Creek you hit upon a golf course called Quail Valley Golf Course.
