The Shirtail Creek Campground is at Sugar Pine Reservoir near Foresthill, close enough to be confusing. Says Sheila Parks There are boats for rent here at Shirttail Creek - Tahoe National Forest, and you can go for a nice swim at this campground. There's a good playground, so the little ones can have a good time;       there are RV hookups for your RV here. Hope you enjoy fishing, Shirttail Creek - Tahoe National Forest has some fine fishing. Sailing is needless to say something you can do well here, and this is a perfect place for tent camping.   In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you may go water skiing here, and there's a glorious restaurant here that serves glorious food. Showers are available at Shirttail Creek - Tahoe National Forest; everybody ought to go hiking from time to time, and Shirttail Creek - Tahoe National Forest is a glorious place to do that. You are allowed to have a fire at this campground; at the nearby supermarket you could find anything you require.       When the sun is out you can always take pleasure in a wonderful barbeque at the picnic area. If you love fly fishing, this is a good place; power boats are amusing to ride at this campground. You can launch your boat at the boat ramp,   and this campground is a magnificent location for boating. Nearby you come upon the Purdon's Crossing to Route 49 portion, a class IV-V segment of whitewater. It's a fine 4-mile-long segment on Yuba River - South Fork. It may be said that this segment of Yuba River - South Fork is a spot for experienced whitewater paddling.
