The kind reception and all the fun stuff to do are in themselves reason enough to come here. Scotts Flat Lake is a top selection campground with folks from Nevada City. For the duration     of the warm months here at Scotts Flat Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Scotts Flat Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Scotts Flat Lake a wet place; through January this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. This camp ground is to be found in the stunning Northern Sierra Nevada. There are so many exciting things to do next to Scotts Flat Lake; it is one of scores of wonderful campgrounds in this vicinity. So much fun stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too wonderful to be true. Glide down the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork in a kayak, and since you're   here you can take a hike along the Lafayette Ridge Trail. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Scotts Flat Lake. A spree to Empire Mine State Park when you're here at Scotts Flat Lake is never a bad idea, and going for a hike along the South Yuba Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There is a splendid hiking trail near Scotts Flat Lake called the Bayes Cabin Road, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Nevada City for sure. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Humbug Trail, and from Scotts Flat Lake you acquire a tremendous sight of Quaker Hill. Some folks stay here in order to be next to Malakoff Diggins State Park. Scotts Flat is a great place to check out; on a great day you can take a hike along the Green Valley Trail. This campground is so great. A tour to Malakoff Diggins State Park when you're here at Scotts Flat Lake is a good idea, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Yuba River - Middle Fork. California is a wonderful site for campers. So many local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are brilliant reasons to come. This campground has so much amusing stuff to offer. Scotts Flat Lake is not the only site close by, Scotts Flat Reservoir is a close by lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Yuba River - South Fork offers some tremendous whitewater. Finally, the time is right for camping once more; Scotts Flat Lake in California is a wonderful choice.
