Rock Creek - Sierra National Forest, Central Sierra Nevada, California   Rock Creek is loved by the folks of Lakeshore. This campground is so beautiful. This camp ground is one of the fine locations to camp here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Pack your camping stuff and get your motor running; Rock Creek, California is a pleasant site for getting out. The friendly reception and the skillfully maintained facilities makes the trip here worthwhile. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Sierra Summit is close to Rock Creek, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Bobs Flat Trail. Rock Creek is located in a neighborhood     with a lot of exciting stuff to do, and many folks enjoy coming here to get away. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Rock Creek, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Rock Creek drop into the 20's. Man, is there a heap of fun stuff to do close to Rock Creek. There are some great whitewater spots on Dinkey Creek, and you ought to definitely check out College Rock while you're here. Coming to this campground is always a delightful idea. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend San Joaquin River; during your tour here you'll meet some people from Lakeshore for sure. The great choice of local attractions, and the great variety   of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. As if Rock Creek wasn't sufficient, you can also go hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so it's completely out of the question to get bored. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. On a great day at Rock Creek you can take a hike along the Deep Creek Trail, and you're probably interested in lakes, Huntington Lake is one of those close by. A visit to California is not complete without some camping. There's whitewater on Dinkey Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and do pop by Deer Creek if you're here at Rock Creek. So much exciting stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Everybody loves Sierra National Forest, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Red Mountain Trail. Rock Creek gets a normal amount of annual rain; through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
